Scorponok
Here is a repainted 6 inch Movie Deluxe version of Scorponok! He is now a weathered metallic with titanium highlights. His tail fires a stinger and he transforms just like the normal deluxe toy. The claws spin like the regular toy too. He also fits snuggly on his custom made sand base, made using Aves Clayshay and craft sand. Don't worry, it has been sealed twice, bonding the same to the base very well so it will not rub off with normal use. Scorponok comes in his original packaging with instructions.
Scorponok was first base coated in Tamiya Acrylic Metallic Gray. A wash was then done with Testors Model Masters Acyrl Flat Black. Testors Model Master Acryl Aluminum was then drybrushed on, but I left his claws and legs blackened and weathered to suggest lots of use. Next, Tamiya Acrylic Titanium Silver was used to highlight small sections, and even a little bit of Testors Model Master Acryl Steel was used for highlighting. Lastly, his eye slits were just barely lighted with Testors Model Master Acryl Guards Red.
