RGB PKE Meter ver3
This was a commission based on my previous RGB PKE Meter build, but with a color scheme closer to that of the cartoon. The ends of the antennas light up yellow, a color changing LED illuminates the viewscreen, and a steady green and flashing red LED sit on the front control panel. All of the lights run off of 2 AA batteries. All of the knobs turn and the antennas swivel almost 180 degrees manually. At the request of the commissioning party, a D clip was added to the bottom of the handle so he could hang the PKE from his belt via a carabiner clip. For the paint scheme, first I put down a smooth gloss black base coat, then a chrome, then clear red / blue /orange over that to create a candy look. Then the PKE was weathered to be more realistic and sealed with an acrylic sealer.
