This is a custom designed Proton Pack "junk build" I made for my wife that incorporates some of my the styles of the movie and cartoon packs (RGB and Extreme GB). I had always wanted to do a cut-away on a pack so you can see what's on the inside. So with that in mind I decided to make a pack with a clear cyclotron so you could see the circuits within (not the actual chaser circuit). The lights on the gun are static but the cyclotron features 10 green LEDs that chase in a clockwise circle. They're hard to capture on film so check out the video at the bottom. All of the lights run off of a rechargable DVD battery that is secured to the inside of the ALICE frame.
The top and bottom halves of the pack are not connected and are attached to the motherboard seperately which gives the pack a little bit of flexibility should you need to bend down. The gun is slightly smaller than a movie style gun and fits her small hands nicely. All of the knobs on the gun turn and the barrel can be extended manually. The trigger tip rotates as well. Most of the decals are custom designed in Photoshop and printed on quality vinyl; the rest are electronic surplus. Overall the pack probably weighs 10 to 15 lbs which is excellent for her.
