Proton Pack ver 2
My 2nd and current Proton Pack I wear as part of The Real Tampa Bay Ghostbusters. This was made from a fiberglass shell I bought off Ebay and almost all the parts transferred over from my first pack. The pack lights and gun were also transferred. New labels were printed from hprops.com on sticker paper. Over all the pack weighs about 20-25lbs which is a nice improvement over the old one. There is still rooom for some improvements, such as reflective metallic stickers, a sound kit, speakers and connection for an MP3 player, replacing the batteries with a rechargeable pack, and a new gun with better lights. But it is still a great piece of ghostbusting equipment and my favorite new toy.
Paints used:
- Krylon Metallic Brilliant Silver
- Krylon Ultra Flat Black
- Tamiya Acrylic Chrome Silver
The entire pack and gun is painted Ultra Flat Black, with some Brilliant Silver for some metal parts and Chrome Silver for weathering.
