Ecto Goggles ver8
Another version of my Ghostbusters Ecto Goggles this time made from soft vinyl. You can see out of the lenses and the knobs on the body all turn (the knobs on the lenses are not meant to turn and are pretty tightly screwed in). Realistic weathering was done to give the goggles a beaten and battered, lived-in look. The straps are adjustable and foam was added to the bridge of the nose for added comfort. Labels for the body and lenses were designed in Photoshop and custom printed on vinyl. The HUD on the inside was created from customed designed graphics in Photoshop and printed on sticker paper. These are light weight, durable, and great gear to add to any Ghostbuster uniform!
Paints used:
- Krylon Fusion Flat Black
- Createx Metallic Pearl Silver
- Tamiya Acrylic Flat Aluminum
First a basecoat of Flat Black for the lenses and the front frame, then Pearl Silver for the end of the right lense. Flat Aluminum was then drybrushed for weathering.
