Ecto Goggles ver16

Ecto Goggles version 16 sports a flat black military style paint scheme and heavy weathering to simulate wear-and-tear. I wanted to really vary the difference between the length and width of the two lenses to make them as asymmetrical as possible. Two green LEDs light up on either side and run off of a button-cell battery installed on the inside. The main body is a soft vinyl and foam has been added to the nose bridge so they are comfortable to wear. The labels are custom designed in Photoshop and a few were found online, then printed on vinyl. The knobs on the body turn, however the knobs on the lenses do not. The straps are adjustable and can be trimmed.

Paints used:
- Krylon Fusion Satin Black
- Dupli-Color Vinyl & Fabric Dye Flat Black
- Spaz Stix Mirror Chrome
- Tamiya Acrylic Flat Black
- Tamiya Acrylic Chrome Silver

First a basecoat of Vinyl Dye Flat Black for the frames and Satin Black for the lenses. The lenses were then airbrushed Flat Black and sealed with an Acrylic Sealer. The lower right knob is Mirror Chrome. Chrome Silver was drybrushed on for weathering.
