Ecto Goggles ver14
Here is a new pair of Ecto Goggles with a flat black military style paint scheme and heavy weathering to simulate wear-and-tear. These have been my personal goggles for the last few events and I wore them when my group won first place in the costume contest at The Venue in Clearwater, FL this past Halloween. There are quite comfortable and complement the Ghostbuster uniform very well. The labels are custom designed in Photoshop and a few were found online, then printed on vinyl. The knobs on the body turn, however the knobs on the lenses do not (well if you have REALLY strong fingers I guess they can). The straps are adjustable and can be trimmed.
Paints used:
- Krylon Fusion Flat Black
- Dupli-Color Vinyl & Fabric Dye Flat Black
-
Krylon Chrome Aluminum
- Tamiya Acrylic Flat Aluminum
First a basecoat of Vinyl Dye Flat Black for the frames and Krylon Flat Black for the lenses. The end of the right lense is Chrome Aluminum. Flat Aluminum was drybrushed on for a worn metal look and then gray pastel chaulk was dusted into the corners.
