Ecto Goggles ver10

After a year of making Ecto Goggles I'm ready to celebrate with my 10th pair, the anniversary pair! These goggles sport all my best features including a new addition: the top headstrap! Just like the side straps, this strap is adjustable and can be trimmed to fit. The color scheme is a movie-like military Olive Drab and realistic weathering was done to give the goggles a beaten and battered, lived-in look. Foam was added to the inside rims and bridge of the nose for added comfort. Labels for the body and lenses were designed in Photoshop and custom printed on vinyl. The HUD on the inside was created from customed designed graphics in Photoshop and printed on sticker paper. The lighting system consists of two 3mm blue LEDs in the upper corners and a third 5mm color changer LED in the bottom middle. When the goggles are activated the blue lights pulse with the color changer as it strobes then all 3 flash together for an awesome spector-scanning effect. The lights operate off of a 9volt battery that installs easily inside the goggle frames and comes included.

Paints used:
- Krylon Fusion Flat Black
- Krylon Fusion Ultra Flat Olive Drab
- Krylon Metallic Brilliant Silver
- Folkart Acrylic Metallic Silver Sterling

First a basecoat of Flat Black for all pieces, then the frames were hit with Olive Drab. The end of the right lense is Brilliant Silver. Silver Sterling was drybrushed on for a worn metal look.
