Artillery Strike Wreckage

After taking over a month break following Christmas, I am back with a new Transformer custom based on the 6inch movie Wreckage figure. I saw so much potential in Wreckage since there are many variations of the Stryker vehicle he is molded after, so I decided to do some variants. And starting it off is Artillery Strike Wreckage, who I added two huge artillery cannons to that attach via Rare Earth magnets! His standard mounted turret has had its barrel drilled but now it also swivels in place and is completely removeable! His artillery cannons dismount when he transforms to robot mode and attach to his forearms where his swords normally would. And who needs swords when you have two giant shell-flingin' widowmakers! To make up for the gaps in vehicle mode the swords would normally fill, I sculpted them in with FIXIT to make his top more complete. However, the most important mod is in his chest where there has always been trouble when he is in robot mode because his chestpiece will not stay down on his chest cannon, so when you move his arms you end up halfway transforming him back and it was a major annoyance. So I added a stud to his cannon that attaches to a hole in his chestpiece that does not interfere with his transformation at all and makes him completely stable when in robot mode! He transforms perfectly, poses extremely well, and looks fantastic.

Paints used:
- Testors Model Master Acryl Black
- Testors Model Master Acryl Aluminum
- Testors Model Master Acryl Olivgrun RLM
- Testors Model Master Acryl Interior Green
- Testors Model Master Acryl Euro I Gray
- Games Workshop Citadel Mithril Silver

Wreckage was first basecoated black. In vehicle mode he was then heavily drybrushed Olivgrun, then lightly drybrushed Interior Green that brought out super detail and texture. His robot parts were drybrushed Aluminum over black with Mithril Silver for highlights. His tires are black with Euro I Gray drybrushed for texture.
